chicago puppet makers: identity, autonomy and
community is an exhibition catalog consisting of the
biographies of five puppeteers based in or connected
to the chicago theater scene. the puppeteers featured
are pillars of the community and promote collaboration
and social change in their productions.
the exhibition catalog uses the classic chicago star
imagery and attaches the star to strings, highlighting
the connection between the city and the art of
puppeteering.
