The School of Design Tote Bag emerged from the consideration of the fashion of prospective DePaul School of Design students. The tote bag references the popular grunge style that modern-day young creatives tend to gravitate towards. The design was then optimized for vinyl by enlarging the text and the binary pattern in the background (the binary representing the school’s four design disciplines: graphic design, user experience design, game design, and industrial design).
The design was printed on a canvas tote bag using vinyl and a heat press at the Depaul University Idea Realization Lab.
